Helping Veterans Live Comfortably at Home

For many veterans and their families, staying at home while receiving the support they need can make all the difference. At In Home Personal Services, we understand that life after service comes with unique challenges, and our goal is to provide compassionate, flexible care that allows veterans to live safely, independently, and with dignity.
Support That Makes Life Easier
Our Homemaker and Home Health Aide (HHA) services are designed to help veterans with everyday activities that might feel difficult on their own. Whether it’s getting dressed in the morning, preparing a meal, or simply moving safely around the house, our caregivers are there to provide gentle, respectful support.
We also offer light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship; helping veterans stay active and engaged while reducing stress for family members. Our caregivers are trained to provide care that fits each individual’s needs, so veterans can maintain their independence without feeling rushed or limited.
Care That Works Around You
We know that every veteran’s situation is different. That’s why our services are flexible: hourly, daily, or even live-in care options are available depending on what works best. Care plans are developed in collaboration with the veteran, their family, and their VA nurse or social worker, ensuring that the support provided is personalized and coordinated.
Many families are relieved to learn that HHA services can also be combined with other VA programs, including home-based therapy and respite care. This means veterans can continue receiving all the support they need without interruptions, while family caregivers get a much-needed break.
Supporting Those Who Support Veterans
Through the VA, family caregivers may qualify for up to 30 days of respite care per year, as well as PCAFC stipends. This program helps families continue providing care without sacrificing their own well-being.
Skilled, Compassionate Caregivers
Veterans benefit most when caregivers are not only trained but truly understand their needs. Our team completes required coursework on caregiving essentials and receives specialized dementia training for Alzheimer’s and other related conditions. CPR and emergency response are also part of ongoing professional development, so families can feel confident that their loved ones are in capable, caring hands.
Peace of Mind for Families
When veterans receive HHA support, families often notice immediate relief. They know their loved ones are safe, supported, and engaged, reducing the risk of falls or hospitalizations. Coordinated care means that every veteran, caregiver, family, and VA team is working together, making life smoother and more predictable.
Getting Started
Starting support is simple. Families can schedule a free consultation, coordinate a care plan with a VA nurse or social worker, and arrange an in-home assessment. From there, our caregivers begin personalized HHA services tailored to the veteran’s needs.
At In Home Personal Services, our mission is to support veterans and their families at home. We’re here to help your loved ones live comfortably, safely, and with dignity—because those who served us deserve the very best care.
